How do I unstall Internet explorer

If you are having problems with Internet Explorer, or would like to uninstall it for any reason, this is a relatively simple task.

Steps to Uninstall Internet Explorer:
  • Click the "Start" button that is located on the bottom left hand corner of your desktop.
  • From there, scroll the mouse up to the "Control Panel" button and double click this button.
  • The Control Panel window will open, and provide you with a variety of tasks you can perform.
  • Double click on "Add or Remove Programs"
  • The "Add or Remove Programs" window opens and provides you with a list of programs installed on your computer.
  • The next step is to find whatever version of "Internet Explorer" is installed on the computer. You can highlight it by clicking it once.
  • Then click the "Change or Remove" button, and follow the instructions from there.

For some Windows users who have installed a service pack recently, Internet Explorer is not available in the list of programs in the "Add or Remove Programs" window. The alternative to this in Windows XP is to choose the "Add/Remove Windows Components" located on the left hand side of the "Add or Remove Programs" window.
The Windows Components Wizard opens and allows you to add or remove a Windows component by placing or removing a checkmark next to it. You can remove the checkmark next to Internet Explorer and click the "Next" button at the bottom of the page to uninstall Internet
